Vios Challenge Malaysia 2026 Opens with Rahimy, Mikail, Lim, and Dakeng Taking Race 1 Wins

Super Sporting
Ady Rahimy secured victory for Laser Motor Racing, leading a strong team result at the front of the field. Freddie Ang split the Laser entries with second place for Telagamas Toyota, while Nabil Azlan completed the podium in third to give Laser Motor Racing two cars inside the top three. 

Sporting
Adam Mikail took the win in a 21-car Sporting field for G-Mart Best Autosport, opening his campaign with maximum points. Justin Toh finished second for BAE Racing By ES Yang, while Nick Thz secured third for Awesome Racing Team. 

Rookie
The Rookie category was controlled entirely by Gazoo Racing Malaysia, with all four entries occupying the field. Ervin Lim led the group to take the class win, followed by Imran Iskandar in second and Ngo Yong Jian in third. Megat Damian Ariff completed the classification in fourth, marking a clean sweep for the factory-backed programme.

Classic Race Series
Surasak Dakeng and Monai claimed victory for RUK Team PMC 52, leading the Classic Race Series field at the opening round. Loke Yin Yi and Kenny Lee finished second for Kegani Racing Academy, while Mirza Syahmi and Khair Nur Adi secured third.

Race 1 sets the initial championship order across all four classes, with established frontrunners and new contenders positioning themselves ahead of Race 2.
