Mulder took pole for Qualifying 1 ahead of Nguyen and Aaron Mehta, before Nguyen topped Qualifying 2 with Inigo Anton second and Mulder third.
Marco Manson took the opening race win, with Mulder second and Nguyen third to give Evans GP a two-podium finish. Taisei Murakami was the top Rookie in P7 overall.
Mulder responded in Race 2 with the victory, followed by Nguyen and David Cosma-Cristofor. The result gave Evans GP a complete podium sweep, while Mehta finished fourth overall as the leading Rookie.
With Mulder and Nguyen providing consistent front-running pace and Manson taking the opening victory, Round 1 established Evans GP as the early benchmark. The Rookie battle also remains open after two different winners at Sepang.
