The venue, located adjacent to Chubu Centrair International Airport, offered a wider and faster layout than Odaiba, with top speeds exceeding 120 km/h for the quicker machinery. Four designated scoring zones were placed around the course, with the final left-hand hairpin proving particularly punishing — many drivers picked up dual deductions for both exceeding track limits and missing the zone in the same corner.
