Bira Kart in Pattaya hosted the second round of the Rotax Max Challenge Thailand on 2–3 May 2026, with five categories delivering a mix of clean sweeps, cross-class doubles, and a strong showing from the Kartkew Motorsports pair in the Mini categories. Thai drivers claimed the majority of victories on home soil, while regional visitors from the Philippines and India ensured the podiums remained competitive across the board.

Micro Max

Thannthajj Yuvasakunkrai converted from the front to take the Micro Max win for MRC Racing, with Jacob Raphael Ravina bringing his Boy Racing entry home in second. Michael Bishev completed the podium for Singha Motorsport Team Thailand in third, rounding out a clean top-three finish for the youngest category on the Rotax ladder.

Mini Max

Chinnaphat Vejabhuti delivered the standout performance of the weekend, leading a DT Motorsport sweep of the Mini Max final from lights to flag. Eeshan Swaroop and Aaruthran Prabu completed the top three for Kartkew Motorsports, with the Indian outfit locking out second and third to underline their competitiveness at this level.

Junior Max

Singha Motorsport Team Thailand produced the strongest team result of the event in Junior Max, with Peerapongpan Sutumno taking the win and Poomsit Klombunjong following him home in second. Kittinunthaphat Boonyaratkalin completed a Thai podium sweep in third for Boy Racing, keeping the Junior class firmly in local hands.

Senior Max

Toby Gale secured the Senior Max win for MRC Racing in the most internationally contested category of the weekend. Kiaan Shah brought his RL Karting entry to second, giving the Indian driver a strong result in the senior ranks, while Panu Stienmonkong rounded out the podium in third for WAT Motorsports.

Round 2 at Pattaya reinforced several clear trends in the 2026 RMC Thailand standings: Vejabhuti's double sweep makes him the driver to beat in the Mini categories heading into the second half of the season, while Singha Motorsport's 1–2 in Junior Max signals growing depth in the team's junior programme. Ravina's split-class double -  a win and a runner-up across the two Micro categories - keeps the Filipino driver firmly in the title conversation.

Editor's note: The Rotax RMC Asia Trophy 2026 ran concurrently at Bira Kart Pattaya, with the same race classified under both the national Thailand championship and the regional Asia Trophy. Results in Junior Max and Senior Max were identical across both classifications. In Micro Max, the Asia Trophy podium places Daniel Yoon of RL Karting in second ahead of Jacob Raphael Ravina in third — reversing the order from the RMC Thailand classification, where Ravina held second. In Mini Max, Aaruthran Prabu, who completed the Kartkew Motorsports 1-2-3 in the Thailand results, does not appear on the Asia Trophy podium, with Issac Yoon of RL Karting classified third instead.
