ART Grand Prix has confirmed that Thai racer Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak will move up to the FIA Formula 2 Championship for the 2026 season, marking an important step for one of Asia’s most promising young drivers.

At 20, Tasanapol earns his place in Formula 2 after a strong year in FIA Formula 3 where he finished seventh in the standings and took three wins. His season was defined by steady progress, clean racecraft and regular fights at the front, including a landmark moment earlier in the year when he became the first Thai driver to win in F3.

His path to Formula 2 includes experience in both single seaters and GT racing through the Thailand Super Series, giving him a well-rounded foundation as he begins his rookie campaign at the next level.

ART Grand Prix team principal Sébastien Philippe said that Tasanapol’s results and consistency made him a natural fit for the team’s 2026 programme. Tasanapol shared his excitement about joining the French outfit, adding that the team’s structure and history make it the right place to grow through one of the most demanding steps in junior single seater racing.
