Across Junior Max, Senior Max/Max Masters, Micro Max, and Mini Max, the round delivered a mix of dominant performances and late-race momentum shifts that continue to shape the championship narrative heading into the second half of the season.
Junior Max
Peerapongpan Sutumno left little doubt about who controlled the Junior Max category.
After securing pole position in qualifying, Sutumno maintained his advantage through both Qualifying Heats and the Super Heat, consistently setting the benchmark for the rest of the field. Behind him, the order remained fluid. Thanawarat Vejabhuti emerged as the closest challenger in the Super Heat, finishing ahead of Kittinunthaphat Boonyaratkalin as the battle for the remaining podium positions intensified.
The Final ultimately followed the pattern established throughout the weekend. Sutumno converted his uninterrupted run at the front into victory, completing a clean sweep of every major session. Punn Suksermsongchai improved from third in the Super Heat to second in the Final, while Boonyaratkalin secured another podium finish in third after maintaining front-running pace across the closing stages of the event.
Senior Max / Max Masters
The combined Senior Max and Max Masters field produced one of the most competitive contests of the round.
Nadol Imjitpanya opened the weekend by topping qualifying, but the momentum shifted once racing began. Toby Gale took control in Qualifying Heat 1 and never relinquished it, winning both heats before adding victory in the Super Heat.
Yehonatan Moshe established himself as Gale's most consistent challenger, remaining firmly within the top three throughout the latter half of the programme. Imjitpanya, meanwhile, continued to score strongly despite losing the outright advantage he had shown in qualifying.
The Final, listed as provisional at the time of publication, confirmed Gale as the winner ahead of Moshe and Imjitpanya. The result completed one of the most commanding performances of the weekend and strengthened Gale's position among the category's leading contenders.
Micro Max / Micro Rookie
Micro Max produced a slightly different story, with the podium battle evolving throughout the weekend.
Sreathaphat Theeraphatarabuawong established early control by topping qualifying and carrying that pace through the competitive sessions. The Super Heat further reinforced that advantage, positioning him as the favourite entering the Final.
Behind him, the fight for the remaining podium places remained open. Thannthajj Yuvasakunkrai stayed consistently in contention, while Achira Pienpuk steadily improved through the event.
The Final confirmed Theeraphatarabuawong's dominance as he secured victory, with Yuvasakunkrai finishing second. Pienpuk completed the podium in third, marking the driver's first top-three result of the weekend and a notable late surge in form.
Mini Max / Mini Rookie
Mini Max delivered one of the clearest examples of sustained pace across the entire event.
Chinnaphat Vejabhuti started from pole position and followed it with victories in both Qualifying Heats, placing himself firmly in control of the category. The only interruption came in the Super Heat, where Peemphat Kewrungfahthai broke Vejabhuti's streak to claim victory and briefly shift momentum ahead of the Final.
The decisive race, however, saw Vejabhuti return to the front. He secured the class win ahead of Kewrungfahthai, while Aaruthran Prabu completed the podium after remaining among the leading contenders throughout the weekend.
The result highlighted the consistency of the leading trio, who collectively featured at the front across every major session.
Round 3 reinforced the growing depth across Rotax Max Challenge Thailand's junior categories while also establishing several clear benchmarks for the remainder of the season. Sutumno and Gale emerged as the standout winners, but the Vejabhuti family also left a significant mark on the weekend, securing victory in Mini Max and a podium finish in Junior Max. With momentum beginning to build around several championship contenders, the next round will reveal whether these performances represent the start of sustained campaigns or merely the latest shift in an increasingly competitive season.
