Four different cars topped the four qualifying sessions. Phantom Global Racing #79 led Qualifying 1, Team KRC #18 took Qualifying 2, UNO Racing Team #85 topped Qualifying 3, and Tarmac by Climax Racing #76 finished fastest in Qualifying 4.
Tarmac by Climax Racing #76 led the opening hour, with #72 moving into first in Hour 2 before #76 returned to the lead in Hour 3. Team KRC #18 then moved to the front in Hour 4, with Winhere Origine #96 second and Origine Motorsport #22 third. KRC held the lead through Hours 5, 6 and 7 before taking the chequered flag.
Team KRC #18, driven by Zhang Mingyang, Zhang Zhendong, and Max Hesse, won both the overall and GT3 Pro Am classifications. Tarmac by Climax Racing #72 (Zhou Bihuang, Hu Yuqi, Benjamin Paque, Yuanpu Cui) finished second overall and in class, while the sister #76 (Li Lichao, Adderly Fong, Ralf Aron) completed the overall podium. Tarmac by Climax was the only team to place two cars in the top three.
HZO Fortis Racing by Absolute Racing #20 won GT3 Am (Haziq Zairel Oh, Aaron Lim, Huang Ruohan) and finished P4 overall, while UNO Racing Team #85 (Wang Yibo, RIO, Melvin Moh) took GT3 Silver Am and P5 overall. Mogan Team TDK claimed both the GTC and GTS Am class wins, with #13 (Lester Tang, Solomon Matthew Barry, Billy Lo, Yan Cheuk Wai Andy) winning GTC and #88 (Eason Wu, Chan Ka Ping, Cheong Chi On) taking GTS Am. Origine Motorsport #650 (Archer Wu, Che Shaoyi, Gresham Wagner) took the GTS Silver Am honours, placing P16 overall.
Across the seven class classifications, the Shanghai 8 Hours produced a spread of winners, while the overall race belonged to Team KRC after a late shift in control from Tarmac by Climax Racing.
