In KYOJO VITA, Kirei Kanemoto set the pace in qualifying with a 2:16.057, edging Ayumu Nagai by 0.504 seconds. Loke Yin Yi completed the top three, a further 0.796 seconds off pole.
Nagai turned that second-place starting position into victory in the race, moving ahead of Kanemoto to take the KYOJO VITA win. Kanemoto finished second, with Loke Yin Yi completing the podium.
The KYOJO CUP produced an even tighter qualifying fight. Riona Tomishita took pole with a 1:46.106, just 0.146 seconds ahead of Rio Shimona, while Aimi Saito was only 0.188 seconds from the top.
Tomishita converted pole into victory in the Sprint, leading Shimona and Saito to the flag. The main race then flipped the order at the front, with Shimona taking the win ahead of Tomishita. Saito completed the podium for the full race.
The Fuji weekend therefore split the honours between qualifying pace and race-day execution. Kanemoto and Tomishita started from pole, but Nagai and Shimona were the drivers who ultimately took the main race wins.
