Round 4 of the WSK Super Master Series at South Garda Karting in Lonato brought together highly competitive grids across multiple categories, with drivers navigating penalties, recovery drives, and strong performances across the heats, prefinals, and finals.
Mini U10
Max Zvarich delivered one of the standout results of the weekend in the Mini U10 category. After qualifying third, he faced early setbacks in the heats with time penalties affecting his results. Heat 1 saw him finish 17th with a five second penalty, followed by sixth in Heat 2 with a three second penalty and seventh in Heat 3 with another three second penalty.
Despite the challenges, Zvarich rebounded strongly in the Prefinal by taking victory and carried that momentum into the Final, where he secured an impressive second place finish to cap off a resilient weekend.
Mini Gr. 3
Phawin Warakitsupachok showed strong pace early in the Mini Group 3 category. After qualifying second, he faced a difficult start with a DNF in Heat 1 but bounced back immediately with a dominant win in Heat 2 and a third place finish in Heat 3.
He maintained competitive form with a third place result in the Prefinal, positioning himself well for the Final. However, a five second penalty in the Final dropped him to 24th, limiting the reward for an otherwise strong weekend.
OK Junior
Xie Hui Fei produced an impressive recovery performance in the OK Junior category. After qualifying 27th, he steadily progressed through the heats with finishes of 14th, 10th, ninth, and 15th.
His consistent pace allowed him to secure fifth place in the Prefinal, and he concluded the weekend with an eighth place finish in the Final, marking a strong comeback through the field.
OK
Endo Arata demonstrated competitive pace in the premier OK category. After qualifying seventh, he maintained strong positions through the heats with results of seventh, fourth, and second before finishing 13th in Heat 4 with a five second penalty.
He followed this with fifth place in the Prefinal and concluded the weekend with ninth in the Final, securing a top ten finish in a highly competitive field.
Qarrar Firhand delivered a determined recovery drive throughout the event. After qualifying 36th, he worked his way forward through the heats with finishes of ninth, seventh, 11th, and eighth.
His progress continued with fourth place in the Prefinal, setting up a strong run in the Final where he secured tenth place, completing a notable climb through the order.
