In Pro-Am, Lu Wei and Laurin Heinrich delivered the most consistent weekend for Origine Motorsport, qualifying inside the overall top five in both sessions before finishing fourth in Race 1 and second in Race 2.
Andrés Pato and Jaxon Evans provided the biggest swing. After taking Qualifying 2 pole for Audi Sport Asia Team Phantom, the pair slipped to ninth in Race 1 before recovering to take the outright win in Race 2, converting their qualifying pace when it mattered.
Race 1 belonged to the Silver class. Cheng Congfu and Yu Kuai, driving for FAW Audi Sport Asia Team Phantom, qualified second in both sessions before turning that consistency into the outright victory. Takayuki Aoki and Atsushi Miyake followed in second for TEAM 5ZIGEN, while Sandy Stuvik and Akash Nandy's Qualifying 1 pole came to nothing after the Absolute Racing Lamborghini failed to finish either race.
The Silver class remained competitive through the weekend, with Chen Weian and Liu Kaishun providing the most consistent run across all four sessions and closing Race 2 fifth overall. Aoki and Miyake, meanwhile, went from second in Race 1 to 20th in Race 2.
In Silver-Am, Brian Lee and Maxime Oosten were the benchmark throughout, staying inside the overall top 10 in every session and finishing third overall in Race 2. The Am class saw Setiawan Santoso / Zhou Bi Huang and Liu Hangcheng / Wang Zhongwei trade the class lead, with Liu and Wang taking control in Race 2.
With the overall wins split between Pro-Am and Silver, and the fastest qualifier leaving Okayama without a finish, the GT World Challenge Asia field heads into its next round with both class battles still open.
