In the premier class, Ogura returned to action after being cleared to race following his Silverstone crash. He struggled for pace in FP1, ending the session 19th, before improving to 14th in FP2. That progress continued into qualifying, where he secured P5 in Q2 with a 1:28.450.
Ogura maintained his position at the front through the Sprint, finishing P4 as Jorge Martin made a dramatic charge through the field after starting the opening lap in eighth.
Sunday's Grand Prix brought another P4 for Ogura. He remained consistently inside the leading group as Pedro Acosta claimed his maiden MotoGP victory. This gave Ogura another strong points haul on his return and kept him in the championship fight ahead of the final stages of the season.
Moto3 delivered a more turbulent race for Danish and Yamanaka. Danish made one of the weekend's stronger improvements, moving from P18 in FP1 to P4 in FP2 before qualifying P15, while Yamanaka qualified P17.
The race changed significantly in the closing stages after the leader crashed on Lap 8 and Veda Pratama received a Long Lap penalty for pushing a rival wide. The reshuffled order behind the leaders saw Danish finish P9 and Yamanaka P10.
