Nakamura made the most of the reversed Sprint Race grid after qualifying 12th, starting from the second row and immediately putting himself in the fight for victory. Once in front, the Hitech driver controlled the race with authority, taking the chequered flag just under a second clear of Brando Badoer to secure a composed and commanding Sprint Race win. Sunday's Feature Race proved more challenging from 15th on the grid, but Nakamura climbed back into the points with eighth, capping off the most successful weekend of his Formula 3 season.
Yamakoshi's weekend followed a completely different trajectory. After qualifying third, the Japanese driver entered the Sprint Race as one of the favourites for a strong result, only for the race to unravel as he slipped to 26th at the finish. He responded immediately on Sunday, converting his front-row pace into a measured Feature Race drive to finish second, just 1.685 seconds behind race winner Ernesto Rivera. The turnaround from near the back of the field on Saturday to the podium less than 24 hours later became one of the defining stories of the weekend.
Kato added another quietly consistent performance to his campaign. Qualifying 11th placed him fifth on the reversed Sprint grid, where he secured fifth place with a clean, mistake-free run. He backed that up in the Feature Race by climbing from 12th to sixth, collecting another solid haul of points and completing a weekend that showcased his consistency across both races.
Spa ultimately belonged to Nakamura's breakthrough Sprint victory, but the round also highlighted the depth of the Japanese challenge. Yamakoshi's remarkable recovery and Kato's double points finish ensured all three drivers left Belgium with momentum as the Formula 3 season heads into its next round.
