He converted it into a controlled lights-to-flag victory, finishing more than four seconds clear of Emanuele Olivieri to continue one of the most consistent campaigns in the championship. Race 2 proved more closely contested, but Nakamura-Berta remained in the fight throughout to secure third, leaving Paul Ricard with a win and a podium to further cement his place among the title frontrunners.
Chi Zhenrui emerged as one of the standout performers outside the podium battle. The Chinese driver qualified seventh in Group B for Race 1 before taking a significant step forward in the second qualifying session, climbing to third and finishing just over a quarter of a second away from pole. While that pace translated into sixth in Race 1 and ninth in Race 2, the improvement across the weekend underlined his growing confidence as the season progresses.
Kabir Anurag enjoyed another steady outing for the Asian contingent. Sixth in Group A qualifying for Race 1, he finished 12th on Saturday before improving to 10th in Race 2 to add another points finish to his campaign. The result continued a season built on consistency, with the Singaporean driver again converting competitive qualifying pace into championship points.
Paul Ricard ultimately reinforced the championship's emerging storyline. Nakamura-Berta continued to deliver at the front with another victory and podium, Chi Zhenrui showed encouraging progress over a single lap, and Anurag maintained his run of consistent points. With the season entering its second half, the Asian contingent leaves France with momentum at the front and plenty of ground to build on at the next round.
