Mitsui established himself as the driver to beat from the outset, topping both free practice sessions before claiming pole position for Rounds 10 and 11. Umegaki remained his closest challenger throughout qualifying, while Urabe consistently placed himself within striking distance of the leading group.
Round 10 opened in hot conditions and quickly evolved into a two-driver contest at the front. Mitsui and Umegaki broke clear of the field in the opening laps, with the championship leader carefully managing tyre degradation to extend his advantage over the closing stages. Mitsui crossed the line 6.025 seconds ahead of Umegaki to secure his third victory of the season, while Evan Giltaire completed the podium. Further back, Urabe emerged victorious from a closely contested battle for fifth.
The weekend's middle race produced the closest finish among the leading Japanese contenders. Mitsui once again controlled proceedings from pole position, but the fight behind him intensified as Urabe delivered one of his strongest drives of the season. The DELiGHTWORKS driver secured second place, narrowly beating Umegaki to the line by just 0.004 seconds. The result rewarded Urabe's consistency and prevented Mitsui's closest rival from gaining additional ground in the standings.
Round 12 completed the sweep. Mitsui led from the front for a third consecutive race, securing a hat-trick of victories and capping off one of the most dominant weekends of the season. Umegaki followed him home in second, with Giltaire returning to the podium in third. Urabe added another strong result with fourth place, ensuring all three Japanese title contenders left Okayama with significant points.
While Mitsui's perfect weekend strengthened his championship position, Okayama also reinforced the depth of the Japanese challenge at the front of Super Formula Lights. Umegaki remains firmly within reach, while Urabe's podium and consistent scoring have kept him in contention as the championship heads towards its decisive phase.
