Pro Cup
Maini's weekend developed steadily across the three qualifying sessions. Sharing the HRT Ford Racing Mustang GT3 EVO with Fabio Scherer and Thomas Drouet, they placed 11th in Pro Cup in Q1 before moving to 13th in Q2. The biggest step came in Q3, where Maini climbed to eighth in class to secure his first Pro Cup top 10 of the weekend.
He carried that momentum into the main race. Completing all 68 laps, Maini brought the Mustang home ninth in Pro Cup and ninth overall, giving him back-to-back top 10 results across the final qualifying session and the race.
Gelael's weekend followed the opposite trajectory. The AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO he shared with Lilou Wadoux and Arthur Leclerc opened Q1 in 10th in Pro Cup, placing the crew inside the class top 10. The car then slipped to 16th in Q2 and 18th in Q3, leaving it at the back of the Pro Cup field heading into the race.
The race brought some recovery, with Gelael and his teammates finishing 15th in Pro Cup, but the result remained some way from the pace shown in the opening qualifying session.
Silver Cup
Sathienthirakul followed a more consistent upward curve in the Silver Cup. Driving the Dinamic GT Porsche 911 GT3 R EVO alongside Francesco Simonazzi and Angus Whiteside, he qualified 15th in class in Q1, improved to 14th in Q2 and moved again to 13th in Q3.
That incremental progress translated into the race. The Porsche completed the full 68-lap distance to finish ninth in Silver Cup.
The Nürburgring round ultimately produced two positive trajectories for the Asian contingent. Maini turned his strongest qualifying session into a ninth-place Pro Cup finish, while Sathienthirakul steadily climbed through the Silver Cup order to finish inside the top 10. For Gelael, an encouraging Q1 gave way to a more difficult weekend as the field progressed toward the chequered flag.
