Loke Yin Yi and Faidzil Alang Set the Pace as Malaysian Speed Festival Round 2 Delivers Seven-Class Action at Sepang

Loke Yin Yi controlled the category from start to finish. After setting the benchmark in practice and qualifying with a 2:48.680, Loke converted pole into victories in both Sprint 1 and Sprint 2.

Lim Keng June finished second in the opening sprint ahead of Teoh Cheong Liong, while Sprint 2 saw Imran Iskandar move into second with Teoh securing another podium. Teoh's pair of third-place finishes made him the category's most consistent challenger behind Loke's perfect weekend.

MSF Super Series

Faidzil Alang opened the weekend by topping practice and qualifying for Papaya Fowster 22 Proshop, but the racing produced three different winners.

Lo Pak Yu claimed victory in the Super Sprint ahead of Faidzil and Syahrizal Jamaluddin before Faidzil responded in the Super Unlimited Finals, reversing the order to take the win over Lo. The main race belonged to Lo Ka Chun, who led Foo Yung Chieh and Syahrizal to complete one of the most competitive categories of the meeting.

MSF Production Series

Yuszaidi and Afizul Azha led qualifying, but the race victories were shared.

Ridhwan Kiff and Lee Wai Cong secured the Super Sprint ahead of Iman Danish and Mohd Shalifuzam Rosli, while Taj Izrin Aiman claimed the feature race victory. Iman Danish and Rosli added another podium in second, with Sukran Latib completing the top three.

MSF Cup Series

Tan Tek Hong topped qualifying for BMS Autosport, though the race wins went elsewhere.

David King took the Super Sprint ahead of Shafiq Shaiful, before Shafiq returned to win the main race. Theng Giun Sheng and Alvin Tan completed the feature race podium as the category produced another split result across the day.

MSF Superbikes GPX and Super Rookie

Amran Gaffur was quickest in practice and qualifying but narrowly missed out on victory in the Sprint, finishing second behind Ahmad Nor Fitri. Cheng Tez Kin rounded out the podium in third.

Mohammad Fahmi Wahaf converted pole into victory in commanding fashion, leading Jonathan Serapica and Heng Si Kiat home in the Sprint after topping both practice and qualifying.

American V Twin Cup by Prodigy Racecraft

Mohammad Alysakirin Ahmad Sabri led the opening sessions before the Sprint reshuffled the order. Muhammad Naqid Mustafa claimed victory ahead of Muhammad Nuruqman Jaafri and Muhammad Izzat Jamaluddin to close out the day's racing.

With dominant performances in some categories and shared honours in others, Malaysian Speed Festival Round 2 produced a varied weekend across the Sepang paddock. Loke Yin Yi's clean sweep in MSF OMR SKILLDRVN and Faidzil Alang's pace throughout the Super Series stood out among a meeting that delivered competitive racing from the first session to the final chequered flag.
