Indian racing driver Kush Maini will compete for ART Grand Prix in the 2026 FIA Formula 2 Championship, marking a significant step forward in his single-seater career. The 2026 season will be Maini’s fourth in Formula 2.
While the 2025 FIA Formula 2 season didn’t go as per plan, his historic victory at the Monaco Grand Prix, was key in his development. He ended the season on a high with a stellar performance in Abu Dhabi, gaining 13 positions in the feature race. Over the course of his career, Maini has demonstrated consistent development in the Formula 1 car, earning the post-season testing opportunity with the BWT Alpine Formula 1 Team.
In the session that commenced yesterday, he showcased his talent and immense pace, pleasing the Alpine Formula 1 outfit.As he heads into the 2026 season, he not only joins ART Grand Prix in Formula 2 but will also continue his role as Reserve and Test Driver for the BWT Alpine Formula 1 Team. Maini continues to wave the Indian flag at the highest level of international motorsport.
