Kotaro Togashi topped qualifying with a 2:17.157, narrowly ahead of Irfan, who secured second on a 2:17.223. Bintang Pranata completed the top three with a 2:17.311, leaving just 0.154 seconds between the three riders.
Irfan, who missed Round 4 at Mandalika through injury, won Saturday’s wet-tyre Race 1 by sweeping around the outside at the final corner. He finished the rain-affected race just 0.166 seconds ahead of Pranata. Qayyim Razin took third, with Maulana Malik fourth and Waku Kunitate fifth.
Race 2 on Sunday was decided after the flag. Pranata crossed the line first, but a post-race track limits penalty at Turn 14 demoted him to second and handed the win to Chishiki. Resky Yusuf completed the podium in third.
The result left Chishiki 32 points clear in the championship as the series heads to the grand finale at the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar.
