In the SIC Ohvale Junior Championship, Haqim Al Mahdi established himself as the early benchmark of the season. After securing pole position, Al Mahdi converted both races into victories, holding off Adra Mikayla in consecutive races while Aqeef Darwish completed the podium twice. Mikayla’s late-race pace in Race 1 produced the fastest lap of the weekend, but Al Mahdi controlled the front of the field throughout both encounters to complete a perfect start to the campaign.
The FIM MotoMini Malaysia 160 category followed a similar pattern. Al-Adam Mikail dominated every session, taking pole before leading both races from start to finish. Rayqarl Alhayy and Aryan Mikhail rotated through the podium positions behind, while Qaish Isyraf remained consistently in contention across the weekend. Mikail’s pace advantage and race control made the 160 class one of the clearest displays of dominance across the entire event.
Qasha Irfan delivered an equally commanding performance in the FIM MotoMini Malaysia 190 category. Pole position was followed by two controlled race victories, with Qayyim Razin and Malek Ridha emerging as the closest challengers behind. Race 2 produced the tightest battle of the class, with Ridha edging Razin for second by just 0.022 seconds, but Irfan remained comfortably clear at the front to secure the most complete sweep of the weekend.
The RCB MotoKidz Championship provided the round’s most competitive storyline. Faith Mikael claimed pole position, but Race 1 victory went to Al Fateh Iskandar after a close fight with Ayden Maleeq. Race 2 then swung back toward Mikael, who recovered to take victory while Maleeq secured a second consecutive runner-up finish. With the wins split and no rider able to control both races, MotoKidz leaves LYL as the most open championship battle heading into Round 2.
MotoMini Malaysia’s opening weekend ultimately established a clear hierarchy in three categories while leaving the fourth unresolved. Al Mahdi, Mikail, and Irfan leave LYL with early championship momentum after flawless weekends, while the MotoKidz field heads to the next round with its closest fight still very much undecided.
