Toyo Tires with Ring Racing · #32 Mercedes-AMG GT3 · SP9 Pro-Am
Toyo Tires with Ring Racing approached NLS2 as a foundational step in their transition to GT3 machinery. With Yuichi Nakayama, Andreas Gülden, and Tim Sandtler behind the wheel, the team made the jump from GT4 to the Mercedes-AMG GT3, a significant shift in both performance and technical demands.

After qualifying 34th overall, the #32 delivered a clean and controlled race to finish 17th overall and fourth in the SP9 Pro-Am class. In a field defined by experience and factory-backed entries, the result marked a credible first outing in GT3 at the Nordschleife. More than a result, the weekend served as a key milestone in a long-term programme building towards higher-level endurance competition.

KCMG · #47 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo · SP9 Pro
KCMG emerged as one of the standout performers of the weekend. The Hong Kong-based outfit returned to the Nordschleife with a GT3 programme, fielding Nirei Fukuzumi, Sho Tsuboi, Jesse Krohn, and David Pittard in the SP9 Pro class.

The team made an immediate impact in qualifying, securing sixth overall with a 7:55.821 lap time, a notable result given the level of competition. During the race, the #47 consistently ran inside the top five, demonstrating that the pace was sustainable over long stints.

A late pit stop sequence ultimately dropped them down the order, but they still finished 10th overall and ninth in class. Despite the setback, the performance established KCMG as a serious contender, particularly given the GT3 debut context at the circuit.

HRT Ford Racing · #64 Ford Mustang GT3 Evo · SP9 Pro
HRT Ford Racing’s #64 entry, driven by Arjun Maini, Fabio Scherer, and Emil Gjerdrum, delivered a disciplined and measured performance across the weekend. After qualifying 20th overall in a disrupted session, the team focused on consistency and execution during the race.

They crossed the line 13th overall and 11th in the SP9 Pro class, completing a clean four-hour run on one of the most demanding circuits in the world. For Maini, competing as part of a factory-backed Ford programme, the result reinforced both his familiarity with the Nordschleife and the importance of consistency in endurance racing.

SRS Team Sorg Rennsport · #949 · Cup3 Am
SRS Team Sorg Rennsport’s #949 entry, driven by Akshay Gupta, Darian Donkel, and Aaron Wenisch, delivered a standout performance in the Cup3 Am category. After qualifying 65th overall, the team executed a strong and consistent race to climb through the field, finishing 43rd overall.

More significantly, Gupta secured victory in the Cup3 Am class, underlining a well-managed and effective race strategy. On a circuit where consistency and clean execution are critical, the result highlighted the team's ability to maximise performance and convert it into a class win.

Across all three Asian entries, NLS2 highlighted different stages of GT3 development, from debut programmes building experience to teams demonstrating front-running potential. At the Nordschleife, results are only part of the story. Execution, learning, and long-term progression remain just as critical.
