The 2026 FIA Formula 4 Chinese Championship continued with Round 3 at Ningbo International Circuit, where four races produced four different winners in one of the most competitive weekends of the season. While no driver managed consecutive victories, Champ Academy emerged as the standout team with two race wins and multiple podium finishes across the weekend.

Qualifying

Friday's qualifying sessions produced two different pole sitters. Chan Yu Tsai put Champ Academy on pole for Race 9 ahead of Black Blade Racing's Chen Si Cong, with teammate Zhao Zi Jun completing the top three. Qualifying 2 saw Black Blade Racing's Yu Yan edge Asia Racing Team RFN's Timur Shagaliev for pole position, while Chen Si Cong secured another top-three starting position.

Race 9

Chen Si Cong gave Black Blade Racing the opening victory of the weekend with a composed drive in Race 9. Timur Shagaliev finished second for Asia Racing Team RFN, while Champ Academy's Chen Yuqi claimed third, with less than 1.5 seconds splitting the trio. 

Race 10

Champ Academy answered in Race 10 as Zhao Zi Jun converted his pace into the team's first victory of the weekend with a 4-second advantage. Feng Jia Xi finished second for Asia Racing Team RFN, with Yu Yan adding another podium for Black Blade Racing in third.

Race 11

Timur Shagaliev moved to the top step in Race 11 after a closely fought battle with Yu Yan, securing Asia Racing Team RFN's first win of the weekend, just 0.599 seconds from Yu Yan. Chen Si Cong completed the podium to give Black Blade Racing its second podium finish of the round.

Race 12

Chan Yu Tsai wrapped up the weekend with a dominant victory in Race 12, leading a Champ Academy one-two ahead of teammate Zhao Zi Jun. Pointer Racing's Yuan Yang Ze Shi completed the podium in third, over 17 seconds behind the Champ Academy duo.

Round 3 of the FIA F4 Chinese Championship showcased the depth of competition throughout the field, with Chen Si Cong, Zhao Zi Jun, Timur Shagaliev, and Chan Yu Tsai each taking a race win. Champ Academy's two victories made it the most successful team of the weekend as the championship heads to Round 4.
