Across the programme, multiple classes saw qualifying pace overturned by the time the finals were decided, reinforcing the depth and unpredictability of the championship early in the season.
In CP150, Nazirul Izzat Md Bahauddin controlled qualifying pace by topping both sessions ahead of Md Muzakkir Mohamed and Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin. Superpole reshuffled the order as Kasmayudin emerged fastest ahead of Muzakkir and Md Fareez Afeez Abd Rahman, but the final produced another dramatic reversal. Md Haziq Md Fairues surged through to secure victory, with Md Iqbal Amri Abdul Malek and Md Helmi Azman completing the podium.
CP125 followed a similarly unpredictable pattern. Arash Tsunami Kamarudin led qualifying before Md Syamil Amsyar M Iffende moved to the front during the Shootout session. Iffende carried that momentum into the final to secure victory ahead of Md Farid Hakimi Farid Sezli and Kamarudin. The race also featured several penalties, with Bikes 81, 27, and 35 penalised for yellow flag infringement, pit lane speeding, and ignoring a ride-through jump start penalty respectively.
The WIRA KBS category delivered another major change between qualifying and the final. Ahmad Malek Ridha topped qualifying ahead of Nuzzul Ady Muhammad Sudin and Md Ikram Dani, but the final belonged to Md Afiq Syazanie Mohd Zaini, who secured victory ahead of Sudin and Md Ali Imran Mohd Dzul Hijri.
The Petronas Sprinta Pro-Am Cup featured one of the most complex formats of the weekend with split qualifying groups and heat races shaping the final grid. Md Amir Asyraf Mohd Azman and Sani Irfan Safrizan led their respective qualifying groups before Hafieenaz and Safrizan claimed the heat victories. The final again reshaped the order, with Ahmad Fazli Sham Ahamad Walat emerging victorious ahead of Hafieenaz and Azman.
Two categories, however, delivered cleaner continuations of qualifying form. In the Honda RSX Winner One Make Challenge, Md Fahim Naufal Mohd Faiz converted pole position directly into victory ahead of Ahmad Muizzudin Ahmad Nizam and Md Aidil Zariff Zainal. The 135LC Yamaha Petronas Super Series also saw qualifying pace largely maintained, with Asyraff Zaquan Zainal Raif securing victory after topping qualifying, ahead of Che Muhammad Daniel Syazwan and Md Zill Qayyim Muhd Yusmizan.
Round 2 in Selangor ultimately reinforced the competitive unpredictability running across the Petronas Cub Prix field. While some categories rewarded outright qualifying pace, others saw completely different riders emerge by the final laps, leaving the championship picture increasingly difficult to predict heading toward Round 3.
