Round 1 of the Champions of the Future Academy Program in Valencia marked the start of the season across the OK-N Senior, OK-N Junior, and Mini 60 categories. Over two race days, drivers navigated tightly packed grids, time penalties, and shifting track conditions that shaped the early championship standings.
OK-N Senior
Jagrat Detroja produced one of the stronger results in the Senior field. On Day 1, he progressed through the heats with sixth and tenth place finishes, climbing to sixth in the intermediate classification before securing third in the Final.
On Day 2, he recorded heat finishes of eighth and seventh, placing himself within contention once again before finishing eighth in the Final. Across both days, his results reflected steady progression and consistent points accumulation.
Veer Chopra showed measured improvement through the weekend. After a difficult start in the Day 1 heats, he recovered to seventh in the intermediate standings and finished fourth in the Final, narrowly missing a podium position.
He maintained similar form on Day 2, building through the heats and finishing fourth once again in the Final, delivering back-to-back top-four results.
OK-N Junior
Mitansh Jain opened Day 1 with seventh in the intermediate classification and converted solid heat performances into a fifth-place finish in the Final.
On Day 2, a five-second time penalty in Heat 2 affected his track position, though he recovered in the Final to finish sixth, adding points across both race days.
Alex Nocom demonstrated competitive pace throughout the round. On Day 1, he secured second in Heat 1 and advanced to fourth in the Final, despite receiving a five-second time penalty.
Day 2 saw another penalty in Heat 2, but he managed the situation effectively in the Final, finishing second and securing one of the strongest results of the category across the weekend.
Atiqa Mir showed front-running speed but faced multiple setbacks. On Day 1, she crossed the line third in the Final, though a five-second time penalty was later applied.
Day 2 proved more challenging, with a ten-second penalty in Heat 2 impacting her intermediate classification, followed by a five-second penalty in the Final that placed her 20th overall.
Mini 60
Maximilian Schilling began Day 1 at the front, topping the initial intermediate classification and running competitively in the heats before finishing 13th in the Final.
On Day 2, he returned to the front group, maintaining consistent pace through the heats and finishing second in the Final to secure a podium result.
Muhammad Wibowo showed strong early pace on Day 1 with second and third place finishes in the heats, positioning himself well before a DNF in the Final ended his race prematurely.
He remained competitive in the heats on Day 2 but received a five-second time penalty in the Final, concluding the weekend in 18th.
