Batmobile Racing completed a perfect overall sweep in Pro, VSR extended its control of Pro-Am, and Suttiluck Buncharoen strengthened his Am championship lead with another flawless double.
In Pro, Batmobile Racing established itself as the benchmark immediately. Jonathan Cecotto secured pole position for Race 1 with a 1:45.991 before converting the opening stint into an early lead. William Tregurtha then controlled the second half of the race to secure his maiden overall Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia victory, holding off late pressure from VSR’s Liam Sceats. Zhicong Li and Titus Sherlock completed the Pro podium for Lamborghini Bundang by Racegraph.
Qualifying 2 shifted the spotlight briefly toward VSR as Chris van der Drift secured overall pole position. Race 2, however, again swung back toward Batmobile Racing. After an opening-lap safety car triggered by contact involving Terence Tse, Bertram Lau, and Supachai Weeraborwornpong, van der Drift rebuilt control at the front before handing over to Todd Kingsford. Cecotto later closed the gap rapidly during the final stint and completed the decisive pass at Turn 15 to secure Batmobile Racing’s second outright victory of the weekend. Sceats and Gustaw Wisniewski completed the Pro podium despite carrying a five-second penalty for contact with Sherlock.
The Pro-Am category belonged entirely to VSR. Kingsford and van der Drift secured class victories in both races, extending their championship lead through another pair of controlled performances. In Race 1, van der Drift passed Andre Couto and Zexuan Liu during the second stint to secure the class lead, while Race 2 saw the pair combine overall second place with another Pro-Am victory. Couto and Liu consistently emerged as the closest challengers across the weekend, with Batmobile Racing’s Kumar Prabakaran and Adam Putera completing both class podiums.
In Am, Suttiluck Buncharoen delivered one of the cleanest weekends across the entire field. The True Visions Motorsports Thailand driver secured class pole position for both races before converting each into victory. Bertram Lau finished second in class during Race 1 before his Race 2 ended in the gravel following the opening-lap incident, allowing Buncharoen to complete an uncontested second victory of the round.
The Lamborghini Cup category split its honours across the two races. Supachai Weeraborwornpong secured victory for Siamgas Corse in Race 1 ahead of Gerald Goh and Terence Tse, while Race 2 reversed the order after damage from the opening-lap collision prevented Weeraborwornpong from completing enough laps to classify. Goh and Tse inherited the class victory to close the weekend.
With Ningbo complete, the championship picture has started to form clearly across multiple categories. Tregurtha now leads the Pro standings, Kingsford and van der Drift hold a commanding advantage in Pro-Am, and Buncharoen remains firmly in control of the Am battle heading toward Round 3 at Fuji International Speedway.
