Reshad De Gerus and Bijoy Garg’s Inter Europol Competition #34 showed the strongest outright pace among the three entries. The car qualified fourth overall and fourth in LMP2 with a 1:43.448 lap after finishing eighth in both Free Practice sessions. De Gerus and Garg ultimately finished sixth in LMP2 and 17th overall after four hours of racing.
United Autosports’ #21 entry of Oliver Jarvis, Marino Sato, and Daniel Schneider converted a difficult qualifying position into a podium finish in the LMP2 Pro-Am class. The car started 22nd overall and 11th in class after a 1:48.483 qualifying lap, following sixth and 11th-place finishes in Free Practice 1 and 2 respectively. It recovered to third overall and second in LMP2 Pro-Am at the chequered flag.
Kessel Racing’s #57 pairing of Takeshi Kimura, Mathys Jaubert, and Daniel Serra also showed strong early pace. The car finished second in LMGT3 in Free Practice 1 and third in Free Practice 2. Qualifying produced fifth in class and 38th overall with a 2:00.841 lap, before the entry finished fourth in LMGT3 and 36th overall in the race.
The Silverstone round therefore ended with United Autosports on the LMP2 Pro-Am podium, Inter Europol Competition inside the LMP2 top six, and Kessel Racing completing the LMGT3 top four.
