The GT3 field produced two different overall poles across qualifying. FIST Team AAI's #90 of Lorenzo Patrese and Lin Yu claimed Qualifying 1 honours ahead of the #33 TBC by 610Racing of Neil Verhagen and Yang Baijie, while the sister #91 FIST Team AAI completed the top three. Qualifying 2 belonged to the #71 UNO Racing Team of Marchy Lee and Rio, with the #99 Apex Predator Racing and #999 Milwaukee by Climax Racing completing the front three.
With Saturday's GT3 race cancelled by extreme weather, Sunday’s Race 2 became the only points-paying GT3 contest of the weekend. Winhere Origine Motorsport's #96 of Leo Ye Hongli and Yuan Bo converted their pace into overall victory, finishing ahead of the #33 TBC by 610Racing and the #55 Origine Motorsport of Ling Kang and Bao Jinlong.
The Pro-Am podium mirrored the overall result, while the #89 Team KRC of Ruan Cunfan and Lu Wei claimed the Am class victory with fourth overall. In Pro, the #3 ELEGANT Racing Team of Elias Seppanen and Liu Weng Hin secured class honours, while the GT3 Masters category went to the #51 Aerion Racing by Incipient driven by Xiao Min and Chen Sitong. Team Bad Guy Racing's #69 entry was later disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct.
The GTC and GTS programme completed only one race before worsening weather halted the remainder of the schedule, but Race 1 still reinforced the pace shown in qualifying. Overall victory went to 610Racing's #53 Porsche of Dylan Yip and Yang Baijie, ahead of Frankenstein Racing's #222 entry driven by Liu Taiji and Zhou Yiran, while Harmony Racing's #23 pairing of Huang Xiaofeng and Feng Shaolun completed the overall podium.
610Racing controlled the GTC categories throughout the weekend, with the #53 taking overall victory from pole, and the sister #77 entry of He Xiaole and Tian Xu finishing second in class.
In GTC 992 Am, the #29 610Racing of Gan Erfu and Wang Yang inherited victory after the pole-sitting #27 car of Yan Chuang failed to classify despite showing stronger outright pace across qualifying. Harmony Racing's #23 of Huang Xiaofeng and Feng Shaolun converted class pole into victory in GTC Am, finishing third overall after leading the category throughout the weekend.
The GTS classes produced different winners across the board. Origin7 Racing's #977 of Kantadhee Kusiri and Tian Weiyuan claimed GTS Pro-Am victory after penalties dropped the #315 Toyota Gazoo Racing China of Han Lichao and Huang Kuisheng to second in class. The Toyota crew received both a 1.5-second penalty for a short mandatory pit stop and a 10-second penalty for a safety car procedure infringement but retained second.
Maxmore W&S Motorsport's #927 of Moritz Berrenberg won GTS Am ahead of the #810 DTM Racing, while Team KRC's #58, driven by Ethan Ho, completed another uncontested victory in GTS Pro.
Although the typhoon prevented a full weekend of racing, the results that did stand offered a clear picture of the frontrunners. 610Racing remained the benchmark in the GTC/GTS classes, Origine Motorsport capitalised on the lone GT3 race to secure overall victory, and multiple teams left Zhuhai with valuable championship points before the series heads to its next round.
