Tomishita carried that pace into the Sprint Race, leading the 10-lap contest from the front to secure the season’s first victory. Ciconte remained within striking distance throughout to finish second, with Saito once again completing the podium in third.
The Final followed a similar pattern, with Tomishita converting pole pace into a second victory of the weekend after controlling the 15-lap race at the front. Ciconte secured another runner-up finish to complete a highly consistent opening round, while Saito added a second podium finish in third. Miki Onaga and Ai Miura remained regular contenders inside the top five across both races as the midfield battles stayed tightly packed throughout the weekend.
KYOJO VITA
KYOJO VITA delivered another closely matched field at Fuji Speedway. Mito Yuzuki claimed pole position with a 1:58.673 lap, beating Kirei Kanemoto by only 0.023 seconds in one of the tightest qualifying margins of the weekend. Yuka Okamoto completed the top three.
The Final saw Yuzuki convert pole into victory after leading all 10 laps, opening the 2026 campaign with a clean and controlled performance. Okamoto climbed into second to finish just over four seconds behind the winner, while Mai Kusamai completed the podium after a strong recovery drive through the field. Yin Yi Luo and Maayu Hakoiri rounded out the top five as multiple midfield battles unfolded across the race distance.
Fuji Speedway delivered a competitive opening chapter for both championships. Tomishita’s double victory established the early benchmark in KYOJO Cup, while Yuzuki’s composed pole-to-win performance placed her at the head of the KYOJO VITA field as the 2026 season begins to take shape.
