Théophile Naël secured the 72nd Macau Grand Prix with a decisive late move that placed him in front moments before the race was neutralised for the final time. The French driver had spent most of the race running behind teammate Mari Boya, but when Boya covered Enzo Deligny after Mandarin on the penultimate restart, Naël slipped through and moved into the lead. The safety car came out shortly after, confirming a 1–2 finish for KCMG ENYA by Pinnacle Motorsport.
For Asian drivers, the race featured several promising runs during the limited green flag laps. Taito Kato recovered well from early traffic to run inside the top six and completed a clean move at Lisboa to take fifth before the last interruption. Rashid Al Dhaheri held ninth for much of the race before a mistake through turn two ended his progress. Tokiya Suzuki was caught behind Al Dhaheri’s incident and retired at Lisboa. Jin Nakamura’s charge ended after contact beyond Lisboa in the midfield group.
With Naël and Boya securing the top two positions for KCMG ENYA by Pinnacle Motorsport, and Deligny completing the podium, the race closed with a strong statement from the team in its second ever outing in Macau.
