Across the paddock, every class produced a different story, from championship heavyweights trading victories to emerging talents making the most of their opportunities.
MSBK1000: Kamaruzaman and Kasmayudin Share the Spoils
Malaysia's premier superbike category produced the closest battle of the weekend. Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman laid down the early benchmark by securing pole position ahead of Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin and Adam Norrodin before converting it into victory in Race 1. The podium mirrored the qualifying order, with Kasmayudin finishing second and Norrodin completing an all-Malaysian top three.
Race 2 shifted the momentum. Kasmayudin responded by taking victory ahead of Indonesia's Mohammad Adenantra Putra, while Norrodin secured his second consecutive podium with another third-place finish. Kamaruzaman narrowly missed the podium after opening the weekend with victory.
Laoongplio Untouchable in MSBK600
The MSBK600 category belonged entirely to Thanat Laoongplio. The Thai rider claimed pole position before backing it up with victories in both races to complete a perfect weekend at Sepang.
Race 1 saw compatriot Kitsada Tanachot finish second ahead of Malaysia's Muhammad Helmi Azman, while Race 2 reshuffled the supporting podium positions as Helmi moved ahead of Tanachot to finish second.
Laoongplio's consistency made him the standout performer of the middleweight category.
Split Winners Keep MSBK250 Wide Open
The MSBK250 class produced one of the most competitive weekends on the programme. Md Irfan Haykhal Amidi secured pole position and converted it into victory in Race 1, leading Indonesia's Irfan Ardiansyah and Muhd Akif Abdullah.
Ardiansyah returned the favour in Race 2, taking victory ahead of Haykhal, while Ahmad Afif Amran completed the podium to ensure neither rider managed to complete a clean sweep.
