Taigen Sakano took the Senior MAX victory for Peak Performer Racing in the weekend’s closest contest. The leading drivers were separated by less than half a second in outright lap pace across the 50-to-51-second range, with Sakano completing eight laps in 6:58.137 and setting a best lap of 50.855 seconds.
Sara Saito finished second for KP BUZZ, just over five seconds behind, while Akihiro Tobita completed the podium for TEAM AKASAKA despite a five-second front-fairing penalty. Tobita had set the fastest lap of the session at 50.675 seconds.
Kazuhito Iida dominated the Junior MAX class, sweeping both sessions with times of 11:33.714 and 12:13.010. His best lap of 39.766 seconds helped him finish ahead of Subaru Imamura and Yoshishige Inose.
Minato Mori delivered a double podium across the Mini MAX and Micro MAX classes. He won Mini MAX in 10:12.318, setting a fastest lap of 42.741 seconds, before finishing second in Micro MAX behind Takeru Kokubo. Kokubo completed the 13-lap Micro MAX race in 10:42.242 with a best lap of 44.730 seconds. Eba Ogino, Haruhito Sakuma, and Seina Arita completed the remaining Micro MAX and Mini MAX podium places.
Yukito Shimoyama won the MAX Masters class in 11:33.217, ahead of Megumi Yuge and RYUKI, while Ai Morozumi took the MAX Lights victory ahead of Ryu Miyazaki and Jukito Asaka. Rinto Akaike led the MAX Lights Junior podium, with Shigetomo Muraki second and Chion Tamura third.
The 16-lap MAX Lights KYOJO class produced a close finish, with Mao Shimazu beating Kanon Takahashi by less than five seconds. Shimazu completed the race in 11:30.204, while Takahashi finished in 11:34.680. Both recorded fastest laps just over 42 seconds, with Kiyomi Bear completing the podium in third.
With all eight class winners decided at Gotemba, the final round brought the 2026 RMC APG season to a close.
