Round 2 of the F110 Cup Japan West Japan Championship at Okayama International Circuit opened with disruption before it delivered a dominant story. A red flag sixteen minutes into qualifying, brought out by a stationary car at the final corner with under four minutes remaining, shaped the grid and set the stage for a weekend that ultimately belonged to one driver.
Qualifying
Ryutaro Sakai took pole for both races, leading a competitive qualifying session that was interrupted before the final runs could be completed. Sakai posted the fastest time overall for Race 3 qualifying, with Shioda Soichiro slotting into second for Bionic Jack Racing and Shuma Yamaoka of Drago CORSE completing the top three. For Race 4, Sakai again led the order on second-best times, with Yamaoka moving up to second and Kaito Matsui of EAGLE SPORT SMK F110 taking third.
Race 3
Sakai converted the Race 3 pole into a clean victory for MITSUSADA RACING. Yuma Sugita brought the LAPS Akiland F110 entry home in second, with Kosei Oguma completing the podium for HELM MOTORSPORTS F110.
Race 4
Sakai made it a perfect weekend with a second consecutive win. Oguma returned to the podium in second, with Yamaoka closing out a consistent showing for Drago CORSE in third.
Sakai's double at Okayama marks a statement round for MITSUSADA RACING, with back-to-back poles and wins across a disrupted but competitive weekend. Oguma's podium in both races points to strong pace from HELM MOTORSPORTS heading into the next round, while Yamaoka's presence across qualifying and Race 4 keeps Drago CORSE firmly in the picture for the championship ahead.
