In SP9-Pro, KCMG led the Asian challenge during qualifying. The #47 Porsche of Nirei Fukuzumi, Naoya Gamou, and Kamui Kobayashi secured second overall and second in class, placing themselves firmly in contention at the front of the field. Race day proved more challenging, however, with the trio ultimately finishing ninth overall and fifth in class.
The #30 Hankook Competition entry shared by Kim Jongkyum and Récardo Bruins Choi followed a different trajectory. After qualifying eleventh overall and sixth in class, the pair gained ground across the race to finish sixth overall and fourth in class.
SP9-Pro Am saw Yuichi Nakayama represent the Asian contingent aboard the #32 Toyo Tires with Ring Racing entry. Nakayama qualified twelfth overall and fifth in class before improving to eighth overall and fourth in class at the chequered flag, continuing the team's consistent run of competitive performances in the category.
The standout result of the weekend came in SP9-Am. Thailand's Kiki Sak Nana qualified third in class and fifteenth overall in the #786 Renazzo Motorsport machine before producing a strong race performance to secure the class victory. The result marked one of the most significant achievements among the Asian drivers competing at NLS6 and converted a promising qualifying performance into a category win.
Further down the field, Toyo Tires with Ring Racing added two more podium finishes. In SP10, Kazuto Kotaka and Miki Koyama qualified second in class and maintained that position through the race, finishing twenty-third overall and securing another SP10 runner-up result. In VT2-RWD, Takuma Miyazono and Masato Kawabata improved on their P4 qualifying result to finish second in class, climbing onto the podium after a measured race through the Nordschleife's demanding conditions.
While the overall victory went elsewhere, NLS6 highlighted the depth of Asian representation throughout the Nürburgring paddock. Nana's SP9-Am victory, combined with podium finishes for Toyo Tires with Ring Racing and strong top-five results in the SP9 categories, ensured the region's drivers remained a visible presence across one of endurance racing's most challenging championships.
