From GT3 machinery to one-make Toyota categories, pickup trucks, and eco cars, only a handful of classes saw pole converted directly into victory across the weekend.
GT3/GTM
The headline GT3/GTM category opened with Singha Motorsport firmly in control. Voravud Bhirombhakdi and Carlo van Dam put their Ferrari 296 GT3 on pole in both qualifying sessions, edging Daniel Bilski and Sathapond Veerachure's Audi R8 LMS EVO II GT3 in Qualifying 1 before extending their advantage significantly in the second session.
That pace translated directly into Race 3, where the Ferrari crew controlled proceedings to win by 10.921 seconds over Henk Kiks and Alessandro Ghiretti, with Piti Bhirombhakdi and Kantasak Kusiri completing the podium.
Race 4 produced an entirely different outcome. Piti Bhirombhakdi and Kusiri took victory in the Honda NSX EVO II GT3, while Kiks and Ghiretti added another second-place finish. Iaro Razanakato and Sandy Stuvik rounded out the podium, ensuring three different pairings occupied the top three across the two races.
GT4/GTC
No category shuffled its order more consistently than GT4/GTC. Ananthorn Tangniannatchai and Supakit Jenjitranun led Qualifying 1 in the Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO II before AAS Motorsport's Dechathorn Phuakkarawut and Kantadhee Kusiri responded with pole in Qualifying 2.
Race 3 belonged to the Porsche pairing, who converted that pace into victory ahead of Siu Yin Ryan Wong and Mitchell Cheah, with Tangniannatchai and Jenjitranun third.
The order reversed in Race 4 as Tangniannatchai and Jenjitranun claimed the win, while Phuakkarawut and Kusiri settled for second. Kmik Karnasuta and Thanapattra Sutthisawang completed the podium after not featuring in the top three during the opening race.
Super Touring
Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand looked set to dominate after Norrarat Apivart and Ayrton Asdathorn topped both qualifying sessions aboard the Toyota Yaris Ativ. The races, however, told a different story.
Nabil Azlan overturned the qualifying order in Race 3, beating the Toyota pairing by just 0.241 seconds while Pasarit Promsombat and Nattanid Leewattanavalagul secured third.
Race 4 produced another new winner as Phiranat Nuntamanop and Chanoknun Nuntamanop guided their Honda CR-Z to victory ahead of Chotthanin Chaikittilak and Aniwat Lommahadthai. Azlan added another podium in third, making Super Touring one of the most competitive categories of the weekend.
TH Super Eco
Jonathan Xie set the benchmark in qualifying aboard the Honda Brio, narrowly ahead of Varunchit Wattanathanakun and Aaron Haikal. Varunchit responded in Race 4, taking victory by just over one second from Xie, while Brett Dickie completed the podium.
Race 5 introduced another winner as Jirapat Jirapraneet claimed top honours. Xie again finished second, making him the category's most consistent performer despite leaving Bangsaen without a race victory.
Eighty Six Challenge Thailand
Vongsapat Ketsiri converted pole into a commanding Race 3 victory, finishing more than eleven seconds clear of Clayton John Nelmes.
Race 4 swung the momentum toward Nelmes, who moved onto the top step ahead of Pancha Waiprip, while Ketsiri completed the podium after winning the previous race.
Thailand Super Pickup Class A-B
Kantadhee Kusiri led qualifying in the Ford Ranger, but Race 4 belonged to Supatas Boonruang and the Toyota Revo. Sandy Stuvik finished second for Ford Thailand Racing, with Tanawat Suwannarat taking third.
Thailand Super Pickup Class C
Supamongkol Detpetch completed the qualifying and Race 4 double in Class C ahead of Jakkapan Wannarat.
Wannarat responded in Race 5, converting consistent podium pace into victory ahead of Tassanai Jaimun, while Alexander Van Mourik secured another podium finish in third.
Toyota Hilux Revo OMR
The Hilux category proved one of the most straightforward contests of the weekend. Chokchai Jarunongkran topped qualifying before converting pole directly into Race 1 victory, with Jakkapan Wannarat and Chalermpon Phonlookin maintaining the exact same order from qualifying through to the finish.
Toyota Yaris OMR
Aleeanz Voltz secured pole position, but Smith Tsoi emerged victorious in Race 1 after climbing through the field. Voltz finished second, while Siripakorn Yeabyon completed the podium.
Toyota Corolla + Yaris Lady OMR
Kentaro Chiba repeated the Hilux formula by leading qualifying before taking Race 1 victory. Bhuripat Vejvongsatechavat and Srithana Mitaree followed in second and third respectively, with the qualifying order remaining unchanged at the chequered flag.
Across eleven categories, Bangsaen reinforced how little qualifying alone guaranteed. GT3/GTM, GT4/GTC, Super Touring, TH Super Eco, Eighty Six Challenge, and both Pickup divisions all produced changing winners between sessions, while only the Toyota Hilux Revo OMR and Toyota Corolla + Yaris Lady OMR classes converted qualifying order directly into race results. It made for one of the most varied weekends of the Thailand Super Series season before the championship moves on to its next round.
