Luviwe Sambudla opened the season with victory in Race 1 for Goa Aces JA Racing. Starting eighth, Sambudla moved into podium contention by lap four before a mid-race Safety Car bunched the field and set up a close finish. He held on to win ahead of Kyriakou, with Aaron Mehta completing the podium for Kolkata Royal Tigers.

Race 2 went to Sambudla’s teammate Aryan Narola, who converted pole position into his first win of the weekend. Kyriakou applied pressure throughout the race but could not find a way past, leaving Narola to become the second-youngest race winner in championship history at 15 years old. Swarnav Das finished third for Kolkata Royal Tigers.

Kyriakou finally converted his consistency into victory in Race 3. After two P2 finishes, he kept Mahlori Mabunda of GodSpeed Kochi behind to take the win, while Mehta claimed his second podium of the weekend in third.

Kyriakou leaves Coimbatore 13 points clear of Sambudla at the top of the championship, with Mehta third, a further six points behind. The opening round offered no clear dominant driver, with Sambudla producing the strongest recovery from the back half of the grid, Narola making the cleanest pole-to-win conversion, and Kyriakou building his lead through consistency.
