The 2025 IAME Warriors Final concluded last week at the Lucas Guerrero Circuit in Valencia, bringing together 386 drivers from 46 countries across five categories - X30 Senior, X30 Junior, X30 Mini, X30 Master, and the newly introduced S125.

This year marked the debut of the IAME S125 engine and among the massive international field, Asia’s presence was strong with entries from Sri Lanka, India, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Over five intense days of qualifying, heats, and finals, only a handful emerged at the sharp end.

In the X30 Mini category, John Han delivered an impressive performance all week, consistently running among the top contenders. After a strong qualifying run and heat performances that kept him inside the top three, Han endured a setback in Super Heat 1 - falling to P13 after starting from P2 - but recovered to be classified fifth overall. He maintained that form in the final, finishing P5 and emerging as the highest-placed Asian driver at IWF25.

In X30 Senior, Toby Gale showed remarkable pace, spending much of the weekend within podium contention. After taking P3 in Super Heat 1 and sitting P9 overall after Saturday’s heats, he climbed to P8 in the final before contact with another driver ended his podium hopes. Despite the incident, Gale’s performance throughout was strong.

In X30 Junior, Sukhmani Khera delivered one of the standout recovery drives of the weekend. Following a tricky qualifying that left her P34 after Friday, she found her rhythm on Saturday morning, climbing five positions to finish P12 in Super Heat 2 and classified P31 overall. In the final, Khera produced a stunning charge through the field, gaining 23 positions to finish P8.

The 2025 edition once again underscored the growing strength of Asian representation in international karting, as drivers from across the region continued to make their mark against the world’s best.
