De Haan entered the weekend as the benchmark after setting a new Pro class course record in qualifying with a 1'28.862, lowering the previous mark by over two tenths. The Dutch driver converted that pace directly into the race, controlling all 17 laps from pole position to secure victory by 7.687 seconds.
Behind him, Taichi Watarai maintained second throughout in the sister seven x seven Racing entry, while Reimei Ito completed the Pro podium in third. The biggest disruption in the class came before the race properly developed, with front-row starter Iori Kimura retiring at the start after qualifying second overall.
In ProAm, Tiger Wu delivered one of the cleanest drives of the afternoon to secure class victory and finish fourth overall for Bingo Racing. Hiro crossed the line next in class, though a 10-second time penalty under Article 13.8 of the 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup Japan regulations affected the provisional order. Hamasaki Masaru completed the ProAm podium despite receiving a black-and-white flag for repeated track limit violations during the race.
The Am category saw Ikeda control the class from start to finish, leading home Kiyomin and Tadashi Fujiwara to complete the podium order.
Okayama reinforced de Haan’s early championship momentum after another dominant display at the front of the Pro field, while the ProAm standings remain considerably tighter following a weekend shaped by penalties and attrition behind the outright leader.
