Adam Putera has been crowned the 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe Pro Class Champion after a tense final round in Vallelunga that saw the title battle go down to the wire. Driving the #6 VSR Huracán alongside team-mate Paul Levet, the duo secured the championship after a consistent season marked by smart racecraft and steady performances.
In Race 1, Putera and Levet maintained pressure on early leader Enzo Geraci before inheriting the race lead mid-stint. Although they eventually finished second overall behind the guesting Leipert Motorsport entry of Brendon Leitch and Nicolas Stati, the points gained were crucial in moving Putera to the top of the Pro standings. Race 2 was all about consolidation as Putera got ahead of title rivals Josef Knopp and Geraci early in the race and handed over to Levet, who managed the final stint under immense pressure to seal the championship despite a five-second time penalty.
Reflecting on the achievement, Putera said:
“Coming into the second race, I knew it would be close because we were next to each other on the grid, so I wanted to get past early, which I did. Paul did a great job when I handed the car over and brought it home for the championship. We knew we had a penalty, so we didn’t celebrate too much at first — but in the end, all the hard work paid off.”
The 2025 season saw Putera take three wins — at Monza (Race 2) and a double victory at Barcelona — alongside multiple podiums at Spa-Francorchamps and Misano. Despite starting the season as one of the least experienced drivers on the European grid, the Malaysian racer’s adaptability, consistency, and composure across six rounds proved decisive in his title triumph.
Putera’s European campaign now positions him among the rising names in Lamborghini’s GT ranks, marking a strong close to an exceptional season with VSR.
